Chapter Meeting May 3rd! A Chapter meeting will be held May 3rd, 10:00 am, at Schaumburg Municipal Airport in the downstairs conference room. Lunch will follow at Pilot Pete's. A draft of the new Bylaws will be discussed. Please forward Bob Hart anything additional for the agenda.
Practice and Play Day May 31st! A practice, critiquing, patches, and play day will take place at, Galt Airport on Saturday, May 31st, 9:00 am. The local airport group Friends of Galt (FOG) will also be out to watch us fly and learn more about aerobatics. This is a great opportunity to act as ambassadors of both competitive and recreational aerobatics. Contact Dan Johnson at captcubby@comcast.net for more details.
Chapter 1 2008 contest dates! The 2008 Heuer Classic will be held at Peru this year. Contest dates are Friday through Sunday, June 6-8th. The Illinois State Open will also be held at Peru, Friday through Sunday, September 5-7th. Doug Bartlett will act as CD for both and may be reached at DOUG@BartlettMFG.com . New Chapter Directors Named! Per chapter bylaws, 4 new directors have been named to IAC Chapter 1. Don DeWitt, Gary Mack, Todd Ashcraft and Doug Partl have been named to the board. A sincere thanks to these individuals for stepping up and filling these leadership positions!
